12 ounce can into a snifter. Canned 11/19/20, had 12/11/20.
Pours near black, mostly opaque, with no head and no lacing. Aromas of oak, bourbon, chocolate, leather, molasses, raisins, toasted malt, some tobacco- more as it warms, some caramel. Has a spicy aroma. Flavors of oak, bourbon, leather, malt, tobacco, some raisins and chocolate, light caramel. Has a strong spicy flavor. Smooth, a good but lighter full body, well carbonated.
The barrels give off very expressive aromas and flavors, lots of wood. It’s really pretty different from the annual bourbon BA version. Really enjoyable.
