A collaboration with The Grafton Pub in Chicago.
A- a brownish red color with a nice 1 & 1/2 inch finger head. Slightly cloudy.
S- notes of caramel & toast malts. The nose had an abundance of fruity hops on it. The aroma had more hop aroma than I'm used to in an Irish red red ale
T- notes of caramel and cereal grains. The hops are aggressive for a red ale, but nicely balanced. I can taste some grapefruit notes
M- medium mouthfeel. Good carbonation. Medium finish with the hops carrying over to the end
O- I really enjoyed this take on an Irish Red Ale. It was more aggressive than others, but everything was kept well balanced.
