One of the few beers they put in bottles and I really liked this one. Drank side by side with some well know barrel aged beers and this one held its own. I'd seek it out again and maybe put a bottle away and let it age. As another reviewer said, this beer really masks the alcohol.

Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Milk Stout.
Pours black as night, with a medium brown finger of head that dissipates somewhat quickly,, leaving no lacing. The aroma is quite nice with a somewhat assertive barrel and bourbon note without being boozy. Also, There's chocolate and roasted malts and brown sugar, light espresso notes. Taste is more milky and sugary, and lacks the barrel notes that you get in the nose. Seems more like its just a kiss of bourbon barrel with more chocolate and roasty malts. The alcohol is masked really well...doesn't drink like a 9+% beer, so it drinks really well. Body is creamy for sure, upper medium feeling.
Overall, its got some highs, and some areas that it could be better...but all in all its a tasty beer.
