This beer is interesting because it is brewed with 25% Chestnuts called Kästen in the Burgenland (state in Austria). Further information given by the brewery: lager yeast, 11IBU, 17EBC.
Fledgling white foam, clear amber body
Woody, nutty and darker base malt aroma
Typical flavor of darker base malrs, some sour, little bitter
Prickling carbonation, well integrated, medium body, powdery mouthfeel
Interesting brew, but not too much effect on the flavor. What using a percentage of roasted chestnuts next time? Just OK.
