Had on tap. Clear golden body with a full white head. Smells of honey, floral hops, with citrus juice sprinkled in. Taste adds some euro grain and ester, actually well balanced flavoring on the palate. Feel is medium-light bodied, soft, decently crisp and clean, but a little more maltwork or yeast expression would elevate

Archea Brewery “Melyssa”
€6,50/pint at the brewery tasting room
Look: Clear golden beneath a short head of white. Average-plus head retention and very good lacing.
Smell: Malty, sweetish, grainy, and gently floral and citrusy.
Taste: Grainy bread drizzled with honey backed by subtly citrusy, herbal, and earthy notes. The bitterness appears strong at first but then settles as you get used to it. Dry finish with some herbs and earth lingering shortly.
Feel: Medium bodied and gently cirsp-then-smooth.
Overall: Melysse is an interesting, hoppy, and fairly strong honey ale (listed at 7.5%ABV).
