Pint glass from a growler from b2 Taphouse in Salem
This growler cost me only $1 as i had filled out my punch card!
Deep orange almost amber but not really..large frothy cream coloured head. Very nice pint to look at.
Nice aromas of herbs, spice, slight bubblegum and and earthy. Nice.
Taste has all that but also some fruitiness..talking sour cherry, black plums, maybe a little pineapple under it all. Getting some nice floral hops too ( this has 55 IBUs).
Nice mouth feel..slick and lowish carbonation..may get a little cloying in th end.
Nice beer for a buck!

Served On-Tap

A — Pours a bright and pale hazy yellow color into the glass, there is a puffy light white colored head on top that leaves some light lacing along the inside of the glass.

S — Smells of lightly peppery spice, a little bit of sweetness as well, bit of a grainy astringency, fairly mild.

T — Tastes of light malts, then grows to a fairly sweet, though somewhat spicy body, balanced with some nice yeasty character.

M — Medium bodied, if not a bit light for the style.

O — Fairly nice overall, pretty unassuming, but a good basic Saison.

Clear golden amber brew with a modest foam in the Stella Artois goblet. Some spritziness on the tongue but not overly carbonated..Lovely perfumey and fruity aroma. Light bodied and refreshing.

This has a pleasant bready malty flavor. Tangy, fruity flavor. Red grape skins and pears. A touch of butter. Almost winey. Not as yeasty as a lot of Saisons. Pleasing bitter finish. From the 32 oz jug filled at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.
