I had this beer on-tap in a mug at Special Brews in Lynnwood, WA.
Appearance: rich amber hue with a dash of haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam that leaves a nice lace on the glass. Quite attractive indeed.
Smell: lightly sweet and toasty aroma with an almost fruity character. Not bad.
Taste: sweet with a nice toastiness and an almost hazelnut character. A little bit biscuity toward the end, but still quite nice.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and a pretty good creaminess.
Overall: this is a pretty solid ESB. There is a little bit of toasty/biscuity character that is just a little too much for me, but overall quite drinkable.
