22oz bottle served in a large mug. I don't see any dates. Brought to me by the generous @mr-jj.
Pours hazy amber with a big luscious head. Dissipates fairly slowly, looks to be building some quite heavy lacing. Smell is surprisingly mild, with an abrasive almost minty note.
Taste is somewhat imperial red -- more caramel than I would expect, which is not bad. More of that minty oddness.
Mouthfeel is medium, a little coarse. It's a pretty good beer, but nothing to write home about.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium bronze amber with a fine one finger khaki head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel and light biscuit malt, citrus and piney hops with a bit of dankness. Flavor follows with caramel malt with an unusual and tasty biscuit element, citrus and piney hops, orange citrus; finishes with resinous piney and lightly dank hop bitterness. Medium bodied with a respectable light creaminess. After trying Shadow Ninja a few years ago, I knew I was going to watch for more offerings from this brewery and this just arrived in Seattle. It is another pleasant surprise from Loowit. It is brewed in the malt forward style of IPAs, which I like and the malt is a little more interesting than the standard caramel in many of my favorites. The hops are well chosen, covering the classic Northwest IPA territory of citrus, pine and dankness. This is well hopped and flavorful. I liked it quite a bit and both of these IPAs have put Loowit on my radar. Well done.

Pours a medium amber with a fine big pile of foam in the shaker. This is quite resiny and sharp on the tongue. The aroma has a distinctive floral note.
Flavor starts with some malt and an interesting musty note. Hints of mango along with the piney sharpness. This is a highly drinkable IPA with a lighter mouthfeel. I'ts still plenty bitter. From the 22 oz bottle purchased from the supermarket in Portland.
