Our signature lager captures the spirit of the Pacific Northwest. This beautifully crafted lager does not sacrifice flavor like mass-market lagers and showcases a gentle and delicious hop profile.

This is a very nice lager with a nice malt profile and minimal hop taste, but much better than the big breweries. It pours a large head and a nice golden color. It has a slight sweetness to the taste. Loowit does a great job making beer! 20 IBUs Rated 5-14-2022

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: pale straw hue with a little haze and a thin layer of frothy eggshell foam atop. A reasonably nice looking beer.
Smell: quite malty and rather lightly floral in aroma. Not corny or anything like that -- actually, for the style, it's really quite nice.
Taste: a bit lightly fruity and sweet, just as in the aroma. There's some estery character here, but it's not bad. An interesting light lager.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with reasonably rocky and interesting carbonation.
Overall: quite drinkable, if not exactly perfect. I gotta say, if you're going to drink a white and red can of beer with a Washington state volcano on it, you can do worse than Loowit Lager!

im digging the proliferation of pale lagers across craft over the last few years, sometimes just a simple drinker is a nice change of pace, and ive found myself gravitating toward this sort of thing from time to time in all seasons, i definitely am good for a few beers a week in this category, if not more, maybe im getting old?! in any event, this is ahead of the curve, it doesnt taste cheap to me has some malt character, and is clean and crisp on the fermentation, an easy beer to drink, but not an irrelevant one in terms of taste, and i appreciate that, light but not dumbed down, thats hard to do. there is a touch of biscuit character to the grain, and a highly reserved but still distinct spiciness to the minimal hop profile on the swallow, northwestern as much as noble there, a neat little bit of who they seem to be, even in a beer this light. i like that. great carbonation and a drier finish, a lightly floral aspect through it too, and a baked thing without it being too hearty or anything. well crafted, subtly more going on here than in most of them, and a pretty agreeable every day lager overall. i need to try some others from these guys, but this hit the mark for the style. i suspect this will do well for them in the old school looking cans! ill drink my share...
