very nice dark beer. flavorful and smooth! Too much for me to drink in the summer but would be great in the winter!

Enjoyed on tap at the North High Brewing Company bar along North High St. in the Short North of Columbus, Ohio. My first time at this place.
Dark brown amber in appearance. Sunshine has a hard time shining through. Smells sweet and malty with dark fruit. This beer holds true to the style but takes a more aggressive step forward with lip smacking sweetness and a malty dark fruit character that lingers. Nicely hopped to keep things in check. Medium carbonation. Full body with a nice warning effect.
I love a good Doppelbock. I'll come back to drink this one again and I'll try their other lagers too.
