On tap poured into Tulip Glass

A: This beer has a nice light orange hue about it with a frothy white head the body is hazy

S: some grapefruit and candied hops smell with a little bit of bready malts

T: The hops don't pop like I was hoping you get hints of the grapefruit peel with a little bit too much of that bitter and the alcohol is noticeable. Then the malts are a lot more powerful than I prefer in a Double IPA.

M: Fuller mouth slight stickiness to it the bitterness lingers

O: Its an ok beer nothing I would seek out but if nothing else was on tap I'd probably drink it again.

So smooth had on tap at rusty bucket s: is mellow citrus fruits and earthy t : just as it smells with a slight alcohol burn going down f: velvet almost nitro like o:can this

 

Very smooth DIPA. The rice may a mellowing effect as some citrus flavors are present but this is almost session in drink ability which is unique for the style. Bitter but not overly so.
