12 FL. OZ. can
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with an inch of mocha head that leaves little lacing.
It has a nice coffee and chocolate aroma.
It has a good coffee flavor along with some chocolate. As it warms I get some roasted malt that gives a bitter burnt flavor in the finish and into the aftertaste.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
It smells great. It started out tasting great, but that burnt flavor just kept building as I consumed.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had bold coffee roast base.....but finished a week coffee. the mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's an ok beer.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This fine brew pours a dark
blackish brown with a very nice head of light tan foam that
dissipates to a thin ring, light layer, and sports some nice
light lacing. Nose of light coffee, light cream, and subtle
char with a touch of cocoa. Flavors lightly exceed the nose
by presentation with dark cocoa touches over rich coffee
and moderate char with deep roasted notes and subtle cream.
Nice mouth feel; medium full verging on a full body, smooth,
char accentuated, light carbonation, lightly coating, and a
lightly dry finish.
More excellence from a great brewery!
Cheers

Typical dark look with tan colored head that !ingered a bit . Light coffee aroma with notes of malt. A pleasant, somewhat subdued taste. Less depth than other coffee stouts I've tried; very easy to drink. Feel is lighter than similar stouts. Overall an enjoyable beer. 6 pk cans was $9.99+ tax.

A: The beer is black when viewed from afar; when held up to a bright light traces of dark red are visible near the edges of the glass. It poured with a half finger high tan colored head that has good retention properties.
S: Light to moderate aromas of coffee beans and dark malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, but the flavors of dark malts are stronger compared to those of the coffee.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is good as a stout but is a little underwhelming for a coffee stout as the coffee isn’t that strong.

12 ounce can, no dating on the can that I could find but I think it was released over the past month or so. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like coffee, roasted malt and some bittersweet chocolate. It tastes like coffee, roasted/charred malt, bittersweet chocolate, dark bread and a bit of caramel. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. Definitely worth picking up if you're into coffee stouts, I thought it was good. $9.99 a 6-pack.
