Dark gold color and modicum of haze. Good, but average starting head that settles in a rocky fashion. Eventually, only a thin layer of micro-bubbles remain. It leaves splotches of lace--some of which is lumpy.
Some earthy tones with a bit of raw hop plug aroma. After the base pale malt smell, there's some sweeter crystal malt elements.
The flavor starts dry and ends bitter. Not quite astringent, but there's no notable sugar. The swallow is similar to a hop pellet and the finish/aftertaste is a lip-smacking chew of black pepper and straight up bitterness. The body is neutral as is the carbonation. Enough complexity to keep it interesting.

Very heavy looking beer when poured from the 22oz bomber into a pint glass - syrupy. Dark orangey brown color with a one finger head - the head actually lasted as a 1/8 inch film across the top of the glass.
There is lacing that is thick on the side of the glass.
The small is plastic, dry hopped honey, some light citrus. Not a great smell.
Taste is dry hopped honey sweet, plastic-like flavor, and bitter on the back the puckered by cheeks without a lot of flavor with it.
The beer left a film on the top of my mouth that I did not care for. It also drank heavy, not smooth.
Overall this was somewhere between an OK and a good, but the look saved the beer a bit.

ACBF pour. Poured a light copper. Aroma is citrusy and floral. Flavor is similar in its hoppiness. Some bready and paler malt as well. Grapefruit and hop petals. It's a decent IPA but one that falls far short from being memorable in an increasingly bloated beer style.

Tasty brew. As it warmed the flavors popped a little better.

A - Hazy gold body. Thick white head that lasts and leaves moderate lacing.
S - Floral hops, caramel sweetness.
T - Malt, fresh biscuit, quickly interrupted by hops. Floral and earthy dominate. BItterness lingers. This is a well-balanced IPA.
M - Medium/think body, medium carb.
O - A great IPA. East coast style for sure. My first beer from Great Rhythm. I'll certainly seek out more offerings.
