Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a hazy deep magenta color with a finger of effervescent pink head. The head leaves no lacing as it settles into a thin ring.
The aroma brings notes of cherries, blackberries, raspberries, and faint strawberries. The back end has notes of bready malt and a touch of lemon zest.
The flavor brings lots of raspberry notes, as well as some blackberries and the foggiest idea of strawberries. There's some bready malt in the middle, before a finish of sweet cream and tart lemon zest.
The feel is medium bodied with pretty good carbonation. Very creamy, with some lingering tartness.
Overall, a very good tart ale that is nicely balanced and highly drinkable. Perhaps a bit too sweet for true sour lovers, but still a damn good beer.
