From a can opened and reviewed on 11/10/20** Update from a can pKG: 2/9/22. Rotating hop series: Idaho 7, Sabro & Simcoe hops this time. Noted**
Golden with hues of Amber color, very old school IPA look without the haze.** a decent amount of haze this time, honey gold color, patchy, lacy, chunky white fluffy cap.
N: Sweet fruity hop aroma, piney with semi sweet malted grains.** lemon drop, sharp citrus, very sweetly floral.
Crisp and piney, dry earth with a solid malty backbone. El Dorado, Simcoe and Chinook bring the old school American IPA back in the glass.** dry, leafy and crispy earthy bite, bitter dryness, lemon zest, white pepper and citrus peel and grapefruit in a big way. I really like the classic, dry bitterness in the finish.
Crisp medium bodied feel with a dry edge in the finish.** basically the same mouthfeel with dry, crisp bitterness and some tangy fruits pucker.
Overall, pretty standard West Coast with decent complexity.** I'm enjoying this dry, leafy effect with bugger than NE style bitterness and the gentle fruity current throughout.

Can from Greg and Jane's
Mostly clear deep golden color with a decent sized bubbly white head. Earthy grassy pine and resin with a fair bit of astringency.

Poured into a 16 Nordic pint glass canned on 10/12/2020. Pours a cloudy orange with a half finger sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace with solid retention. 4
Smell is mandarin, peach, papaya, apricot, and some grapefruit rind. 4
Taste follows mandarin orange, papaya, peach, apricot, and a little grapefruit bitterness in the rather balanced finish. 4.25
Mouthfeel is medium, maybe a little dry, plenty of life, and at 6.8% it goes down easy. 4.25
Overall this is a nice East meets West IPA, that 5 years ago would have gotten a higher score from me, but rock solid. 4
