This is a very difficult malt beverage to review. However it's really strong and it definitely tasted great. I would buy it again and wish they made a twelve pack or a variety pack.

From the 500 ml. can marked B159-1108:37. Sampled on August 31, 2019
This one at least looms like a malt liquor with its golden-amber pour and a quick lasting fizzy white head. Excellent clarity.
The aroma screams orange, nectarine, pomegranate, and other citrus zest with a much lower profile grainy, husky character. Not so much in the way of the burnt moss sensation of hemp.
Light body.
The taste is sweet and tropical mostly but here is where I pick up more of the grainy character of the malts. Not much booze in the taste. Clean, crisp finish.

Calling this a beer is like calling military music, music. It has some beer like elements but they are jarring at best. It has some mild citrus, fruit, floral and spice aromas and a hint of marijuana but there is a skunky note in the background and something not quite right hanging around. it the aroma. It pours like a brilliant gold soft drink with a fizzy, fleeting cap that is gone by the end of the pour. It is citrusy sweet up front and transitions to something disagreeable by the finish. There is an unpleasant layer of skunkiness throughout. It comes across like a doctored Vernor's ginger ale with the ginger removed. It is too sweet and too much like an alcoholic soft drink with some skunk in it. This is what happens when you allow the geniuses in the marketing department design your beer. There is absolutely no reason for anyone of drinking age to drink this beverage.

Pretty interesting beer. This was the first brew I’ve tried that was made with hemp seed or anything like that. Definitely has a skunky taste and smell that is forward on the pallet. Finishes with a orange soda flavor but not overbearing or anything like the Fanta orange flavor of bud light orange. Not as complex as I had hoped but a very interesting profile. Much more skunky/natural flavors than expected. Makes for a decent hot summer day brew with a notable kick at 8% abv. After this I’m open to trying other similar style brews.

1 PINT 7.5 FL. OZ. can
Served in a snifter
This beverage pours golden and clear. It has a fleeting head. After sitting in the glass for about a minute it looks like a flat beer after sitting out all night.
There is definitely a skunk smell. As I approach the glass I detect a sweet orange aroma.
The taste is like an orange Four Loko or Mike's Hard Lemonade. It is super sweet and artificially orange tasting. I get a little of the hemp on the back end.
Thin bodied with a sticky, thin mouthfeel
It's like orange pop and a doobie without the smoky taste.

Welcome back to New Oddball Beer Sunday (Week 735)! The first one was unexpected in all new & different ways! Let's see what another adjunct-filled CANterpart brings to the day.
From the CAN: "Real hemp seeds + natural hemp & blood orange flavors."
I was rather stunned upon Crack!ing open the first (base) on in this series, so I have to admit to a bit of trepidation with regard to this one. It turned out not to be a CANcern as it was MUCH more subdued than in the initial beer. I beCAN a slow, gentle Glug since I was still using a Don Ho tumbler & it was a big CAN. It briefly created a finger of fizzy, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with low retention, acting like pop & fizzing out of existence. Color was the now-familiar champagne-like Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4) with NE-quality clarity. Nose retained the skunkiness of the base beer, but it was (thankfully) cut with a pleasant orange-y citrusiness in this instance. Mouthfeel was kind of thin & watery, clearly not its strong suit. The taste was as equally pleasant as the nose. It had a funky skunkiness, but the orange citrusiness more than made up for it. Of the three, this was the best of the lot, which may not be saying a lot, but there it is. Finish was semi-dry and was actually quite refreshing. YMMV.
