On tap at the brewery. Solid beer enjoyed after kayaking the Chena River!

16oz can served in a snulip. Can is dated "Enjoy By SEP/07/23." My math teacher friend from Alaska gave it to me.
Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a smallish head, moderate fine slow carbonation. Smell is honey and bread, a little yeast and grass, a hint of lemon.
Taste is similar, a bit more in the citrus vein, a bit stronger in the bitterness, but still nice honey and bready yeast and a little bit of floral notes.
Mouthfeel is light and extremely dry. Overall, nice and satisfying beer.

-Enjoyed at Pioneer Park, Fairbanks Alaska 2020 tour. Draft.
A: Deep golden orange is as bright as the Alaskan sun during the summer. Actually it rained nearly my whole two weeks up here. None the less, clarity was a bit more dense then usual, never a ding in my book, with a thin creamy topping that was moderately lasting. Thick lace coating on the vessel, or rather plastic cup I had, showed some thick blotchy patches. Bright carbonation.
S: The nose was bright, with golden fruit, pear, apricot, along with some sweet pilsner/pale malt. Really good strength aromatically, clean and very crisp per style. Some fresh apples to mention.
T: For flavor there was pear and cantaloupe being the brightest. Sweet golden raisins, along with some juicy apple sauce perhaps from the yeast strain. Semi-dry peach had a very juicy and fruity flavor to it. Very pronounced, flavorful.
M: A little extra mouthful here, very crisp, bright, smooth and soft on the tongue.
O: Overall a Kolsch that ramps up the flavor a bit, nothing subtle here, a great thirst quencher for that Alaskan summer when the sun is beating down on you all day. Crisp, cleanly brewed and one that will open the doors to new fans of the style. Super smooth on the drinkability factor, and multiple worthy. Amped up flavor and the perfect summer time drinker especially along with the salmon bake at Pioneer park.

Holy cow - great northern Kölsch!
Subtle hops, subtle fruit in the nose. Pale brilliant gold with a medium off white head. Minimal sweetness , light malt, super clean very dry. Crisp crushable most welcome north of the great white north

The appearance was a nice looking yellow color with a decent transparency rising in it. Light lacing clung here and there. The smell had a nice blend of sweet citrus to malty sweetness of a slight sweet corn malt to it. Light spicy effects rail my nose in a nice way. The taste was mainly sweet through more of a lemon sweet and almost bittersweet appeal. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed appropriately styled for the beer. It left a really nice sweet lemon aftertaste. Overall, really nice kolsch.
