Notes:
We've taken a deliciously mouthwatering porter and added a smooth coffee kick, courtest of Stamford's own, Rise Brewing Co., and their amazing Cold Brew Coffee. Rise & Shine has a full roasty body, moderate bitterness, notes of dark coffee, and rounds out with a complex yet smooth finish

Dark ruby, medium head.
Pour was way too cold and at first it smelled just like chocolate. As it warmed, coffee and porter roughness became present.
Tastes pretty darn good. Coffee is firm but not overbearing, porter roastiness finishes it off.
As coffee beers become more and more commonplace, it's getting less and less frequent to find one that's solidly made. Hat's off to Half Full for brewing a good one.
