Pours a slightly hazy orange.
Smell is light, pine and some tropical fruit.
Taste is nice and bitter, starting with some pine and a bit of grapefruit. Shortly after comes some nice tropical fruits, ending abruptly with a sharp finish.
Very smooth going down, taste is more West coast and feel is more East coast.
Thankful for tavour so I could try this!

Faintly hazy, orange colored body; frothy, sticky, white head. Orange and grapefruit aroma; some pine. Balanced taste mix of orange and biscuit; very good hop bitterness. Medium-heavy body; dry finish.
A solid double IPA, good balance and respectable depth with the flavors.

A big thanks to the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden/orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of pine, tropical fruits. Taste is piney, citrus, a bit of resin, considerably dry and bitter. Feels full bodied in the mouth and overall is a quality beer.

I CANtinue to be elated with my selections from Tavour! I took several bombers to a recent bottle share where they were met with great enthusiasm, but now, I am delving into the CANs even as my next shipment is on its way. These are glorious times for The CANQuest (tm) & my local, in-person trader, tone77, is going to reap some of the benefits.
From the CAN: "Limited Release"; "80 IBU"; "Signature West Coast bitterness & dry finish, East Coast juicy & tropical fruit flavors. Hops: El Dorado, Mosaic and Ekuanot."
Wow! This should be interesting! Bi-Coastal curious is a new thing for The CANQuest (tm), but like the hippies of yore, I'll try anything once. Except Tide Pods, that's just stupid!
I was excited to hear a loud Crack! from this large CAN, but I kept things in check with a slow, gentle Glug into the awaiting glass. It really seemed to work in my favor as it was relatively clear throughout the pour. Once deCANted, a vigorous in-glass swirl raised precisely two fingers of dense, rocky, foamy, bone-white head with good retention that left the gift of sticky lacing in its wake. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Golden-Amber, almost attributable to chill haze, except that it refused to clarify, causing The Gelt Gang to take a pass. If they don't get 24-carat CAN clarity, then I have to abide by their decision. Nose was indeed juicy, with notes ranging from citrus to tropical to pine & my hophead mouth was watering! Mouthfeel was medium, but a little light for this style. The taste was like a dream come true - citrusy lemon, grapefruit & orange; tropical mango, papaya & light pineapple; woodsy pine & all wrapped in a biscuity maltiness where sweetness would have been out of place! OMFG! CAN I really give this to tone77?!? Actually, he may bring a different take to his review. I embrace diversity. As to me, I think that I pulled a Mickey Spillane/Mike Hammer & just creamed my jeans! I may have to follow in Mom-Za's footsteps & go Bi-Coastal if this is what I CAN expect! This was the DIPA that many of us envisioned when the style first hit the market. Early iterations were too sweet or too bitter, but like Goldilocks, I CAN tell you that I have found Baby Bear's DIPA. Finish was semi-dry, which was also perfect, since it is so hard to strike a balance in/with this style. I was left with a cool mintiness that reminded me of eucalyptus. 8=O This was just so amazingly good that I CANnot believe that they rotate it with the current hop glut. Buy up some surplus & begin distro to PA, my peeps! We will suck you dry with this kind of gem.

Poured from 16oz tall can into a dimpled mug. Can is stamped "best by 4/3/18", which we are definitely before.
Appearance: light golden hue with a moderate haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam. A standard DIPA; it's attractive.
Smell: sweet, earthy, herbal; a bit piney as well. I like it.
Taste: earthy and just a little bit of evergreen; it's sweet and there's a hint of citrusy fruitiness as well. Bitterness is moderate, perhaps even low for the style, but definitely present. A good beer.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and good creaminess for the style.
Overall: I quite like this beer. Like most examples of the style, it's a bit sweet, but this at least approaches balance.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Best by 04/03/18. Given to me by @mr-jj.
Pours a slightly hazy bright golden. Biggish head. Smell is hop resin, piney, grapefruit zest.
Taste is similar to the aroma, but more focus on lemon.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, but resinous. Overall, very nice beer.
