My kind of stout. Beautiful, nearly black pour accompanied by a sweet, inviting aroma. A delicious underlying sweetness that lingers. The roasted malts make for a great flavor balance that starts with rich chocolate and caramel, then finishes with charred coffee. The oats make for an excellent feel that's rich and velvety without being too thick or sticky. Seems to me like they upgraded the recipe based on the 6.2% can with artwork I'm looking at, compared to the photo and bad reviews.

Deep, dark brown pour, appears opaque black in the glass; dense, thick head, khaki hued with a creamy texture cratered with small carbonation holes and sporting a sculpted volcano dome in the middle; slowly recedes to a thinner yet still dense and creamy version of its original state. Very nice smell; coffee and dark roasted grains primarily; mocha. Fantastic taste; vanilla and milk chocolate with a thin coffee underpinning; vanilla; coffee bitterness. Heavy, silky body; dense and viscous; residual sweetness offset with a mildly dry bitterness.
A very fine coffee and vanilla oatmeal stout, decadently smooth and lush on the palate and sporting a beer buzz friendly 5.5% ABV.
ABV: 5.5%; pouring temperature: 51 °F; bottling info: n/a

Look is nice black cloud. Smell is roasty toasty malt. Taste follows nose fairly light. Feel is light. Overall not a very heavy stout. Easy drink.
