750 ml crowler poured into a nonic glass. Kegged on 6/29, canned on 7/21.
L - dark brown, hazy, two finger head. No lacing, ring of foam around the glass. Two finger head upon pour.
S - roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, peat, oak, bourbon
T - robust toasted malt, milk chocolate, coffee, oatmeal
F - velvety, medium light body. Dry roasted finish. Not heavy or stiff, more like a toned down Guinness
O - thank you so much for to my sister for bringing this all the way from Minneapolis. Two days unrefridgerated did not bother at all. Have not had many scotch ales but this is pretty close to Belhaven, another awesome beer

It's not that I am not a fan of Scottish Ales but I don't think I have had enough of them to really appreciate the nuances of the style. So because of that, I thought this was good but just fairly standard.
