Thanks to RedhawkPoke for this one from his NBS BIF #6 box. Crowler poured into 12oz tulip. Poured an opaque brown color with over an inch of tan head that had low retention and no lacing.
A mild roast note was at the front of the aroma. A nice malt base showed through after that. On the tongue, in addition to the roast and grain, there was just a bit of a sour bite across the middle of the tongue.
The body was thinner than I would have preferred, but finished dry. Drinkability was pretty good, at 4%, you could knock back a few pints easily. Overall, an interesting brew, worth trying if you see it.
