12oz can into a pint glass. Appears to have been canned in February 2019, so at least 16 months old.

Looks nice enough in the glass. Hazy dull yellow body with generous white head. Head shrinks to a solid covering which maintains right to the end. Heavy streams of carbonation.

Sour aroma, very faint mustiness.

Despite the age, there is a strong sour taste to this one. Not really tart. A little salty on the lips. Any evidence of the dry hopping has disappeared.

Mouth around medium. Despite the carbonation, it does feel a little dead in the mouth, and there is a light funkiness in the finish.

Overall, still a worthwhile drink despite the age. Refreshing beer on a warm afternoon after some yardwork.

Hulk Hands pours a semi-opaque, pale golden orange with a thin head that dissipates rapidly. The smell is bright and clean with a slight hint of citrus including lemon and lime. Somewhat unimpressive on the nose. The taste goes down as a sour or gose should, as this is a very mild beer. A hint of tartness up front with lemon, grape and apple cider.

From a 12 oz. can into a PAA Dino tasting glass, this beer pours out like a cloudy apple juice and forms a little over a finger worth of bone white crown.

The nose makes sure you know it’s dry hopped, as it brings bright notes of lemon, a beautiful floral aspect, some pine, grass and straw. It has a lot of saison like qualities to me.

The taste carries that brightness on. Bright lemon dances with green grass, light straw and flower petals before turning into a dried out biscuit background. White wine like grape notes.

The mouthfeel has a natural, lemon like tartness and acidity. It’s not too much. It does bring a mouth watering salinity as well. Very refreshing.

Overall, a nice changeup of a gose. It does still bring the qualities of one though, while showing a hybrid, mutant like crossover.

Refreshingly slick. Very clean finish. Hops were definitely present, though not overbearing.
Would not be my #1 first choice but I would definitely have it again.

There is a humorous birthday/holiday card that reads: "People who say that I am difficult to shop for clearly do NOT know where to buy beer!" That used to be the case for me, but the prevalence of Tarts & Sours, which I generally do not like, does make it a little more problematic. I am a hophead, so I generally gravitate to IPAs, but I actually do not mind Goses. One that is specifically dry-hopped & in a CAN kinda does it for me! Thank you to the good peeps at Hunger-N-Thirst for CANtinuing the cause of The CANQuest (tm).

From the CAN: "Dry Hopped Gose".

I did some in-CAN CANgitation before Crack!ing open the vent to ensure that any lees that may have settled onto the kick were back in suspension. I CANtinued with an inverted Glug to further keep things in suspension. I would up with just under two fingers of fizzy, foamy, rocky, eggshell-white head with low retention, quickly falling away to wisps. Nose was more tart than sour, causing my lips to lightly pucker in response. I did not get much in the way of salt, but the coriander & the hops gave it a really nice nose. Lemony, peppery, minty, grassy, but just not salty. Mouthfeel was medium, big for the style. The taste came out of the gate with an alum-like puckering tartness that required that I pry my mouth back open for a seCANd sip, Phew. I got a LOT of citrus, initially, including lemon, lime & grapefruit plus a white wine vinousness and a peppery spiciness. My only bugaboo was that I was not experiencing salt. Finish was quite dry with a lingering citrus & pepper vinousness. Still no salt. 8=(

Poured from a can into a weissen glass.

Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with excellent frothy head, a solid skein of foam after settling and decent lacing.

The aroma is very bright and fresh. Alive with multiple citrus aromas (lemon, lime, grapefruit) as well as hints of tropical fruit, pear, grass and hints of hops.

The flavor is solidly but not over-the-top sour, with a pleasing but also balanced brine note. Flavors of apple cider, white grape, lemon/lime, white pepper, grass, and herbal hop notes.

The feel is crisp, fairly light, and dry, but not puckering in its sourness.

This is a rather hoppy, but extremely balanced take on the style. The sourness is solid, but just so. The brine is very present but not excessive. There is just enough malt balance for the hops. Excellent take.

Very lightly hazy golden body, nearly transparent. Head production is strong, and retention and lacing are excellent.

Dry-hopping is immediately evident on the nose. Initial impressions are lemon, mango, pine, grass, oregano, mint, grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, and honey. I wouldn't naturally guess Gose from the nose, but I don't think I'd jump straight to IPA - more like a dry-hopped Saison.

Some hoppiness translates to the palate, in particular on the very first taste, and on the back third. The middle, however, is pure Gose, with lemon, honey, wheat, and salt. Mildly tart, and the hops enhance the citrus impression, with mild dankness and moderate tropical tones on the back.

Refreshing, lively, a little slick. A very drinkable and nice beer.

A: The beer is somewhat hazy yellowish amber in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that left a patch of lacing covering about half of the surface are and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of sour limes are present in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste is very sour and has flavors of limes and lime zest along with notes of saltiness in the finish.
M: It feels light-bodied and tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: While light in body, this gose is all about sour flavors of limes and makes your mouth pucker.

Aroma is fruit and sour hops/sugar. The flavor is citrus, fruit, wheat/malts, mild sugar/candy, somewhat oily and a slightly sweet/tart/hoppy finish.

Don't like or really drink sours or gooses, but I like this. I would pick this if I want one of those.
