Brew: Prairie Artisan Ales – Cocorumnilla
Intro: 12 oz. bottle poured into a tulip glass. Shared with a friend.
Appearance: Pitch black, Minimal head maybe .5 inches. Minimal lacing as I drank
Smell: Chocolate, vanilla, with the barrel bringing up the back end.
Taste: Follows the smell. Mild coconut and vanilla.
Mouthfeel: Medium mouthfeel, medium carbonation.
Drink: Easy drinker. Enjoyable, well balanced and went down smooth.
Conclusion: Was happy for the chance to try this one. Nothing outstanding but another enjoyable Prairie none the less.

Tan head. Black color.
Classic prairie stout with a nice dose of coconut and vanilla sweetness. The rum barrels are nice and noticeable. They definitely add a bit to the sweetness but the beer isn’t overly sweet. Has a Dr Pepper flavor. Thick, but not oil thick.
