A layered tan froth sits tall atop this rose gold colored brew
An aroma of fresh grapefruit and strawberry is followed by distant notes of perfume.
Has a singular flavor profile with hints of strawberry cake, strawberry puree and vanilla icing along with a coating of faint herbal hops and fruit rind.
Medium and much drier than expected. The rind adds a certain chalkiness.
A unique beer that works on all levels and is amazing in its own right.

Hitting summer head on, the Prairie team of Artisan Ales bring us.... milkshake. A hint of cream here, a taste of strawberry there and you'd barley know that there's a beer lurking within. ...and a strong one at that.
With "smoothie" IPA sweeping the beerscape, Now Now pours with a glowing orange, golden hue and crowned with a frothy off white cap. Bold hop aromatics bring a dedicated scent of tropical fruit, citrus, berry and herb to the nose while its taste is full and pastry-like with pie crust, honey and a tepid pinch of caramel.
Its bright taste quickly favors the hops as its sweetness begins to slowly evaporate. Mango, papaya, orange and red grapefruit latch onto the tastebuds as a taste of strawberry slowly glides over the hops for a tart, berry-like "red" taste. Hints of cranberry and rhubarb come at late palate with the support of bitter cream upholding the hops and light strawberry additions.
Its long and bitter finish outlasts the fruit and vanilla character while capturing the bite of fresh shaven spruce, chive, citrus peel and a piquant gin-like alcohol spice. Drying on the finish, the ale retains the crisp, clean and refreshing character of slightly elevated American IPA in the end.
