Pours a pitch black dark w little to no head retention.
Smell is dark roast coffee w the familiar Prairie stout base smell. Almost no peanut butter coffee scent.
Taste is bitter coffee roast w little peanut butter flavor that follows. Beer might be past its prime at this point. Semi-muted flavors. Consider yourself hugged has a popping peanut flavor that is missing here ..
Feel is a bit light for a Prairie stout ..
Has a decent to thick mouth feel.
Overall this beer is a bit of a letdown considering the hype. Not to say this is a bad beer .. it's pretty well done. Just not quite up to the overwhelming hype this beer has seemed to receive. Overall B+/A-

L: Rich onyx hues with a thin khaki head and moderate lacing
S: Huge roasted peanuts on the nose complemented by a subtle barrel and light mocha
T: Chocolate syrup, crumbled Butterfinger bars, Caffè Americano, and a drizzle of hazelnuts
F: Medium-bodied, but effortlessly smooth
O: Another compact and robust stout from Prairie - these Dawgz beers are incredible. Amazing flavor combination and well executed.
