Aged In the bottle for about a year. Very dark appearance with slight light brown head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a nice blend of cinnamon and apple. Taste is a very smooth blend of cinnamon and apple.

L: Rich mahogany and chestnut hues with a thin tan head and minimal lacing
S: Huge notes of granny smith apples and baked cinnamon apples on the nose
T: Very even balancing of the flavors anchored by a robust apple brandy profile; the cinnamon is expertly integrated and rounded out by a smooth mocha and splash of cocoa/fudge
F: Moderately thick with ample carb
O: Notwithstanding the recent apple brandy barrel debacle with AB Paradise and AB Bomb!, Prairie does AB stouts just about as well as anyone in the game. Full bodied and rich flavors abound in this one, but truly lets the barrel shine. Nicely done.
