Brew: Prairie Artisan Ales - Reserved For Nick
Intro: 12 oz. poured into a tulip glass. Shared with a friend.
Appearance: Pitch black, Minimal head maybe .25 inches. Minimal lacing as I drank
Smell: Apple Brandy barrel up front. Chocolate and cinnamon in the background.
Taste: Followed the smell. The brandy was prevalent but mixed well with the other additives.
Mouthfeel: Medium mouthfeel, Low carbonation.
Drink: Easily consumed as the Apple Brandy is a nice change from the bourbon barrels.
Conclusion: Very nice offering from Prairie. Probably in my top ten of Prairie offerings and I’ve had close to 40-50 different ones.

Wow this beer is something. Since my name is Nick, I knew it was worth getting. Darkest of brown in color with a mocha head. Nose is straight Apple Jacks cereal. More Apple Jack in the taste with a dry finish. This beer is delicious and a smooth beer at 14%. You did it again Prairie.
