L: Dark mahogany and onyx hues with a 1cm foamy sandy head and moderate lacing
S: Huge green apple notes on the nose with a trace of vanilla bean and pecans
T: Granny Smith apples up front that progresses into a sweetened wave of grade B syrup, dark fudge, and marshmallow; the finish is a crisp cinnamon baked apple
F: Medium bodied with ample carb
O: The handful of AB Dawgz I've tried have had a massive barrel presence and really need distinctive flavors to diversify the apple brandy profile - absolutely needs to be enjoyed at 55°F or warmer or the barrel completely dominates. Amish Pair O' Dice does a nice job of complementing the strong barrel with a depth of maple and vanilla and a more subtle cinnamon dusted pecans. A great layered profile and interesting brew for sure.
