Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Prairie Dino glass.
Pours a thick black body with a small brown head that reduces quickly to leave a bit of retention and no lacing.
On the nose, Apple and cinnamon are prominent, with Apple aromas taking center stage. This smells like a freshly baked apple pie with a light nutty aroma. Lightly boozy.
On the tongue, rich flavors of Apple brandy, cinnamon bun, fudgy lava cake, chocolate candy apple, finishing lightly roasty and a little boozy. Aftertaste is more Apple. Mouthfeel is thick, rich, indulgent.
This was a fantastic beer to sip on - had way more Apple character than expected and it really worked with the cinnamon and light pecan flavors.
