Brew: Prairie Artisan Ales – Fluffed Nibs
Intro: 12 oz. poured into a tulip glass. Shared with a friend.
Appearance: Dark black color, very little to no head.
Smell: Cocoa, Vanilla, a little marshmallow, and of course the bourbon barrel
Taste: .followed along with the smell. Barrel was upfront. The additives melded together and nothing really stood out
Mouthfeel: Medium mouthfeel, very little carbonation. Not thin, not chewy/chunky but could use more carbonation. Not flat though.
Drink: The 12 oz bottle disappeared quickly. Definitely a dessert beer.
Conclusion: I’m happy to have had the chance to try it. Another solid offering by the Prairie Dawgs. Was very similar to “Because Life is Short” except with different additives. Unlike BLIS where the maple was front and center, these additives were more subdued

I've had about 10 recent Dawg beers at this point and I can comfortably say that this is the best so far. Perfect carb, great on the nose both cold and at room temp, and the taste and feel are on the money at both as well. Basically a double vanilla stout with a hint of chocolate.

Aged in the bottle for about a year. Very dark appearance with no head. Aroma is a slightly sweet vanilla marshmallow and bourbon. Taste is exceptionally smooth vanilla marshmallow and bourbon
