Prairie beers have been hit and miss for me, and this one is a miss. Not enough substance to justify its otherwise inviting scent. Flavor is one dimensional, look is golden yellow with good head and carbonation, one thing going for it. Not sure when to drink this, it’s not refreshing and too sweet for what it lacks in depth of character. No pink guava funk that’s for sure. Beer snobbery aside, I can see this being enjoyable for some.

Lightly murky brown in color with a fingernail of off white around the rim and covering the vast majority of the top. I smell a light acidic tartness, along with lime. I’m tasting lime, juniper, and faint pineapple. The mouth is moderately carbonated and crisp.

Nice refreshing beer that is good on a hot summer Texas day.
Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Pinkish yellow color with a decent initial head and decent lacing. Pleasant fruity smell and taste. Flavor of strawberry and pineapple most prominent. Slightly tart taste. Nice beer!

Date: Canned on 07/11/19, consumed on 08/03/19.
Appearance: "No Way" pours out a hazy orange color and produces a fingers worth of fizzy off white head. There isn't much to write about, but it looks good.
Aroma: The look may not have been anything special, but the nose sure is. Gentle sour lactobacillus aromas float off of this one with a tart lime undercurrent. I'm also getting a slight herbal quality which I can only attribute to the juniper berry. Next I pick up on something sweet, but nothing that screams pineapple in particular. The strawberry however is a different story, while it's not overt, there is a definite strawberry and vanilla cream thing going on.
Taste: As expected, the sour lactobacillus and tart citric lime pop up first with the middle being composed largely of red berries and vanilla cream. Toward the end a sweet element, probably from the pineapple, mixes well with the tart lime. The finish is where I get the dry botanical juniper flavor along with a dryness that helps keep things fresh. Interestingly, the berries and cream is the flavor that lingers on the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is appropriate for a 4.9% sour. An all around solid Prairie beer, I feared it might be too sweet, as many of their stouts tend to be but no, this one really is a winner.
