Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Prairie tulip glass.
Pours a deep brown body with barely any head. Thick body that sticks to side of glass.
Aromas of vanilla beans, boozy rum barrels, milk chocolate, bourbon, sweet French vanilla.
On the tongue, slick, sweet, vanilla, caramel, light chocolate, a bit boozy, whiskey on the finish, lightly roasty aftertaste. Mouthfeel is a bit lacking, a little thin and undercarbonated.
The barrels were heavy on this beer, vanilla/rum dominate.

A blend of rum barrel-aged stout, bourbon barrel-aged stout, and bourbon barrel-aged brown ale. The rum is doing the heavy lifting here, imparting a fruitiness that outweighs a chocolate note from the base stouts. Near as I can tell, the brown ale primarily thins out the mouthfeel and adds a little malt ball to the vanilla and oak imparted by the barrels.
