On tap at brewpub. Deep silky black pour with a creamy beige head of 1/2 finger.
Aroma of dark chocolate, slivered almonds, cocoa, and slight caramel.
Flavor brings slivered almonds, dark chocolate, dry cocoa, slight lactose, and dark fruit.
Feel is slick and creamy, with an oily finish. Moderate to high signature Prairie alcohol warmth.
Overall, a little less inspiring than their other offerings but this is still a good imperial drinker.
