Brew: Prairie Artisan Ales - V4nilla
Intro: 12 oz. bottle poured into a tulip glass. Shared with a friend.
Appearance: Pitch Black, Minimal head maybe ½ inch. Minimal lacing as I drank
Smell: Vanilla upfront and that’s about all.
Taste: Mild on the vanilla considering the label touts 4 different types of vanilla. Could be faded due to age.
Mouthfeel: Medium mouthfeel, low carbonation in the mouth.
Conclusion: Pretty one dimensional. Could have taken this as a non-barrel aged straight up stout. Still, as always, a good Prairie stout is better than most.
