12 oz bottle split with a friend, poured into a wine glass. Pitch black, medium mocha head. Aroma and flavor feature: coffee, chocolate, vanilla, hint of chili peppers, dark roasted malt, bourbon, oak, and a slight nuttiness. Not much peanut butter aroma or flavor, disappointingly. Mouthfeel is smooth and hides the (unnecessarily high) abv well. Overall it's tasty, but doesn't deliver on the peanut butter.

12 oz. bottle.
Dated 08/17/20 on bottom of neck.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch dark tan head over a near black body. Head is fleeting with little to no lacing. Nose of dark roasted malt, bourbon, and slight peanut butter and even slighter coffee. Taste mirrors nose with slight chocolate, slight vanilla, and minimal heat from the chili peppers. Nice feel and overall, glad to try this Bomb variant and wouldn't turn down another one!
Cheers!!!

Received from @jdell15 in a BIF. No discernible bottling date. Poured at approximately 60 degrees into a Prairie stemless glass. It pours a very dark walnut - almost black. The creamy, medium-mocha colored head dissipated quickly leaving only a thin film of lacing. It has a pleasant smell of roasted malt, chocolate, freshly-brewed coffee, and lots of peanuts. The taste is not what I'd expected. The peanuts are deep in the background. Instead, there is the strong flavor of bourbon, chocolate, and coffee. As it breathes and opens in the glass I'm also tasting the advertised chili peppers. All of these flavors are surprisingly delicate. I'm not sure what happened to the peanut butter as the bottle is only about 6 months old. The only time I really notice it is in the after taste. This stout has the anticipated mouth feel - it's similar to the other BOMB variants - fairly thick and creamy with mild carbonation. And like other BOMBs the ABV is quite well hidden but catches up to you, so sip it slowly. Overall, this is tasty and enjoyable but not my favorite Prairie BOMB! variant.

Pours a pitch black color with a half finger of fizzly head. Head is more fizzle than foam and dissipates quickly. Aroma is the typical Prairie Bomb! notes of chili pepper, vanilla, cocoa, and chocolate, along with roasty and toasty malts, with the nuance and change being heavy peanut butter at the forefront of the nose. It has a natural consistency, not coming off as a dry powder or otherwise artificial. Barrel adds a little depth via some char and woody notes. Flavor profile is more of the same, with the initial cocoa nibs, vanilla bean, chili peppers, and chocolate swirling together with a spoonful of creamy peanut butter. Roasty and toasty malts add the firm and dark base with a light kick of oak, char, and whiskey to round it out. Mouth feel is still with a soft effervescence. Consistency is huge with a thick, full feeling. Overall, hearty with lots of peanut butter all the while still showcasing the underlying Bomb! base beer. Great execution and labeling.
