Thanks to RedHawkPoke for this one, from his NBS BIF #12 box. 16oz can (no date) Poured into 14oz teku. Poured a bright, artificial-coloring looking red with over an inch of pink head that had surprisingly decent retention and light lacing.
The aroma was definitely that of Kool-Aid, perhaps cherry. Some tartness showed through as well.
Very similar on the tongue. It did taste like Kool-Aid, but a batch that didn't have enough sugar added, so was a bit sour on the finish.
The body was light and crisp, although there was some slight stickiness on the finish, and carried good carbonation throughout the glass.
Drinkability was OK, but a 12oz serving size would have been more palatable.
Overall, not a thrilling brew, but not a total trainwreck either. Experiment if you want to.

A: Beer pours a bright red body out of the can. The head of beer is a faint pink almost white color. As the head fades there is still a large amount of carbonation bubbles left.
S: The aromas match the description on the can. The beer smells of the Kool Aid I drank as a kid. Seems like lemons are the prominent smell. There is also a slight sweetness similar to cherries. However, the sweetness is somewhat faint.
T: The taste mostly matches the nose, but I would prefer the beer to be sweeter if it is modeled after Kool Aid. However, the main flavor from the beer is a tart lemon.
M: The beer's mouthfeel is fairly light with a slight bite from the the sour flavors.
O: The beer smells and looks like the Kool Aid that I liked growing up but lacks the sweetness I want. Not a bad beer just not as sweet as I hoped for.
