Thanks to RedhawkPoke for this one, from his box in NBS BIF #12. 16oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured the expected solid black color, with just a thin cap of tan head that immediately dissipated and left no lacing.

Slight coconut and cacao in the nose, but none of the hazelnuts mentioned on the label. Solid base beer shows through.

Pretty similar on the tongue; nice base beer, with the additives just around the edges. Some alcohol heat as well.

The body was a touch thinner than i prefer in a stout, but was smooth, even, and had a finish that was semi-sweet, and a little sticky.

Drinkability was pretty nice, it was a good beer for this drizzly afternoon.

Overall, a solid and enjoyable brew, certainly worth a shot if you see it.
