Black color. Thin, beige head. Vanilla, coconut, marshmallow, and roasted malt in the aroma. Sweet taste with faint bourbon notes. Not the best from this brewery.

12 ounce bottle, bottled 11.14.2022. Served in a chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head that fizzled away somewhat quickly. Small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like Oreo cookies, roasted malt, coconut, marshmallows, and some nuts. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some dark chocolate, oak and a bit of bourbon too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Drinking pretty good at this point. Didn't buy this until a couple weeks ago, it's still pretty tasty now but kinda wish I would have got the chance to try this one fresher, maybe the barrel character would have had more of a kick. But with that being said this is still good and wouldn't mind buying another bottle if I got the chance!

Pulled from my cellar, was saving it for a SAN but we can’t do high octane beers much anymore.
Poured black like used oil and was very temporally capped with a cinnamon-brown head that reduced to a thin ring and left zero lacing.
The taste is, well, sweet and hot. Has the dark chocolate, the marshmallow, coconut and almonds. Rather amazing that I could taste all of that. On top of that is an alcohol burn that made me wonder if it had cinnamon in it. But no.
The feel is very thick. Almost chewy. Quite appropriate for the flavor.
OA, not much into pastry stouts but this is quite good.

They emptied the kitchen cabinet into this one; it’s pretty good and on par with other Praire stouts.

for all the mediocre gimmicky sour prairie beer made elsewhere now, these guys still absolutely slap with the big stouts, and this is no exception, another highly flavored but also well refined bruiser, this time with chocolate creme cookies, marshmallow flavor, almond, and coconut. its desserty and diabetic, but also it tastes really good. shiny black and heavy bodied in the glass, short mocha head but not as flat as some of these look, slick and big overall. the aroma here is sweet but past that its complex, i definitely get the almond which is cool, more of an amaretto thing than an actual almond nut itself, but its obvious and its there in the flavor too, neat with all the dark roast and chocolate character this has, and frankly they probably could have stopped right there, with the whiskey and oak its super cohesive. i think the marshmallow bit is over the top, i always think that, its not as much flavor as it is sugar, and its unneeded. i like that the coconut is toasted, and i like that its so well integrated into this, its great with the almond aspect, the cocoa character, and certainly with the roasty espresso side of the base beer. it doesnt seem to make this too sweet on its own, but i definitely get that macaroon cooking thing from it, especially at temperature. i never really taste the pastry element in beers like this, like do i get chocolate creme cookies in here, no, but i can appreciate what they have done in this, absurd to the point of novelty, but the overall beer cannot be denied. smooth and long, hints of vanilla and candy bar, the amaretto adding an adult regal character, and its boozy in a good way. impressive specimen here, this has become what prairie does best, and im here for it!

poured from a 12oz bottle into a TG DBA tumbler. pours a thick, deep black with barely a finger of dark brown foam that disappears quicker than it appeared. on the nose i get chocolate, bourbon, vanilla wafers and the slightest hint of marshmallow. taste follows with a tiny bit of coconut to go along with the vanilla / marshmallow flavor but they’re definitely in the background as are the almonds, which is fine by me. this combination (no matter how apparent it may be that certain additives aren’t there) works though. it’s delicious - i like the aromas a little more than the flavors - and not too sweet or at least as sweet as expected. prairie delivers again.

12oz bottle. Bottling date stamped on bottle neck is '11.14.2022'.
Black colored body, with a very thin red mahogany back lit edge. Brief head. No lacing.
Aroma of chocolate, marshmallow, and coconut. Oak bourbon barrel and dark fruit.
Taste is heavy with oak bourbon barrel. Flavors of chocolate, marshmallow, dark cherry, vanilla, and a little coconut. Earthy almond nut addition. Kind of sweet.
Heavier mouth feel, with syrup stickiness. Lots of alcohol vapors from the higher ABV%. Quiet carbonation.
Sip to savor the flavor components.

Pours black. Not much head and not like the gorgeous cinnamon colored ones from other flavors. Looks like darker coke cola. It's sweet, rich and dark chocolatey. Smell is awesome and I can smell the cookies. This one is pretty dang good but on the sweet side. Just below Holiday Weekend and Basic Rebecca ones.
