Brew: Prairie Artisan Ales – Prairie Dawgz: Apple Barrel Jeans, Boots with the Fur
Intro: 12 oz. poured into a tulip glass. Shared with a friend.
Appearance: Dark black color. Medium head. maybe 1 inch. Minimal lacing as we drank
Smell: Apple Brandy barrel up front, minimal coconut and pecan
Taste: Followed along with the smell. The apple brandy barrel was very noticeable and a treat
Mouthfeel: Medium mouthfeel, medium carbonation
Drink: Went down easy, I could easily drink a couple of these in a session.
Conclusion: It was an enjoyable beer, one that I would certainly not pass up if I ran across it again. It should be noted that we took the beer out and let it warm for probably 1/2 hour.
