L - A nice gorgeous dark cocoa colored head with a solid dark brown/black body.
S - Heavenly. A nice mix of fresh vanilla beans and a warm roasted dark chocolate note.
T - An extremely sweet Stout, lots of deep vanilla and maple with warm brown sugar and barley taste.
F - Very good but not my favorite. The beer feels a little to weighty. The best part is just how smooth it is. Feels like a river of liquid chocolate going down my throat.
O - Top tier and almost even with the amazing Vanilla Noir.

Pours black as the darkest night - completely opaque, oily and viscous. Thin, weak mocha colored head forms on the beer, lingers a moment before completely dissipating. The aroma is dominated by fresh cut vanilla beans, marshmallow and a hint of maple. Underlying that are notes of roasted malts, chocolate, and some light char.
Taste has notes of roasted malts, light char, along with vanilla, vanilla beans, brown sugar, marshmallow, maple, chocolate, oak and bourbon. Its is sweet - some may find it too sweet, but I enjoyed it. The vanilla is the dominant feature of the beer, but the barrel is there along with the underlying stout. Feel is medium to full bodied. Smooth, rich, a dessert sipper. Mild carbonation.
Overall this beer is exactly what I have come to expect from Prairie - a well executed, delicious stout. I will say, I am not sure there is a discernible difference between this and the regular vanilla noir. But both are delicious beers.
