I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the Prairie brewery/taproom in Oklahoma City.
Appearance: medium amber brown hue with a mostly clear body and a finger of ivory foam. Nice.
Smell: caramelly malt aroma with a light, smooth sweetness. I like it.
Taste: like the aroma, the malt is caramelly, but there’s a fair amount of bitterness offsetting the sweetness. It’s not bad, but perhaps not as smooth as I like the style to be.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a pretty good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this beer is not bad, and seems well-made, but isn’t exactly what I’m looking for in a Vienna lager.
