As per all my reviews, poured unpretentiously into a pint glass. A nice super dark brown with a half-finger head with little lacing. Great nose of light ginger, vanilla, and mild cocoa with a taste of the same. Not getting any coffee notes (which is what it looks like you'd get) but milk sweet and good layering of the other flavors, with little notice of the 9.5% abv. Sample lingers on the back of the tongue a little too long but otherwise finishes well. A nice cool weather stout, I quite like this one from Prairie.

Look - poured into a 4oz snifter I acquired at Freeman’s Liquor in OKC. Dark brown, going on black, with a quickly dissipating, half-finger, tan head. Lacing throughout drinking experience.
Smell - gingerbread, with vanilla, coffee, and chocolate notes.
Taste - rich, with cinnamon, coffee, caramel, and vanilla. Something about the flavor is slightly off. I think they may have went a little too heavy on the coffee and vanilla, but good nonetheless.
Feel - not as thick as what I’m accustomed to being that my favorite style is Barrel Aged American Imperial Stouts. However, there is a decent amount of carbonation for a higher ABV beer, which sort of makes up for the thinner mouthfeel. Not bad at all!
Overall - another winner from Prairie.

Black in color with no light penetration. There’s a trace of brown around nearly all of the rim. There’s aroma is of gingerbread, vanilla, and coffee. I’m tasting lots of vanilla, lactose, gingerbread, and coffee. The mouth is lightly sticky and chewy. This one is definitely on the sweeter side of the spectrum.

Pours an effervescent mahogany with a fast-falling mocha colored head. Below average head retention & lacing
S: Cocoa, cinnamon, coffee once warmed up
T: Follows the nose, kind of dry, vanilla & nutmeg, so yeah gingerbread up front. Coffee starts bleeding through as this beer warms up, more gingerbread notes, some booze pricklyness as well, plenty of dryness. Finishes dry with cocoa, vanilla & generic gingerbread spices
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, body thins out a bit as this beer warms up
The beer sounded great in theory, but for me it's just another generic Imp Stout release from these guys, nothing more

12oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of gingerbread, chocolate, toffee and caramel. Sweet chocolate taste with gingerbread, vanilla and toffee.
