Zero head on this pour. UGH! TASTE and smells like an Oreo Cookie. A little over the top sweet. Needs more carbonation. Overall it is drinkable but for the $7.19 I paid for one, it's a bad ROI (Return On Investment).

Poured from a 12oz can into a New Glarus snifter. Pours nearly black with some brown areas that light shines through with a crackling and fizzling dark mocha brown foam head that disappears as quickly as it formed. After it settles for a moment it does take on a menacingly and shiny black appearance with some floaties on top. Not a bad looking beer by any means. Chocolate, vanilla and chocolate and vanilla cookies onthe nose. Cookies and cream in the taste. The taste is better to me than the nose. It’s not nearly as sweet as I expected it to be. Medium-full mouthfeel. It has a quick and gentle rush of carbonation to the finish. Slick and oily. Pretty solid if you’re in the mood for junk food as beer.

This is the tenth different stout I’ve tried from Prairie, and they are consistently delicious; this was no exception. It’s not especially attractive, with little carbonation and a head that dissipated within moments, but is definitely smooth, sweet, and tasty. Not boozy. Predominately chocolate and a fun drinking experience.

Based on current beers sampled, I upped the mouthfeel by .25
Pours an effervescent chestnut with instantly failing mocha colored head. Zero head retention & lacing, some viscosity
S: Vanilla & Oreos, & Coffee. Coffee really hangs around once warm, some cookie to counter it
T: Creamy Oreos dunked in a little coffee, nothing too strong, with dryness up front. Coffee gets stronger but has plenty of push back from creamy cookies & dryness, just a little woody hop once this beer warms up. Finishes with creamy Oreos, Coffee & dry notes
MF: Medium body, subtle carbonation, some stick to the teeth tackiness. This is the major detractor for this beer, body not quite there & more carbonation please; this only rallies once warmed up
Will be buying more. not without some minor flaws but so delivers on the flavor & nose. Criminal drinkability
