Pours a vibrant brown-orange color, with almost no head retention. Its head leaves back a bubbly lacing at the edges of the glass and a thin spiderweb in its midst.
Smells of a pungent vinegar foundation, with a fermented berry presence among an intense acetic tartness. Yields old, dusty potatoe peel, together with completely fermented stone fruits.
Has a lively, higher carbonation, blending directly into the acidic coated maltiness.
Begins with an intense sourness, accompanied by sweeter malts and worthy sweet cherries and blueberries. Turns a tad earthier and fruitier after the swallow, while the palate gets surprisingly soon cleansed by the prominent tartness, finishing clean, dry, balanced by bready, dough malts.
Packs an intense tension between highly acidic vinegar and fruit illustrated, toffee malts, providing a focused, exhilarating taste, which leaves the palate a bit too soon, as for its fuller abv.
