great beer right here, a very summery ipa type, with just a pilsener malt base, its pale and golden and lighter than a lot of ipa ever is, clearish, frothy headed, and with a wonderful aroma from all the dry hops, which in this case are hallertau blanc and nelson, a fine and fruity combination indeed! fresh sliced pineapple, meyer lemon, white wine grape, and lemongrass, a beautiful warm weather complexion, and all the fragrant hops in the nose carry over to the flavor very well, with almost the same intensity, freshness, and fruity profile. its nice that this is so low bitterness, and i like the simple grain base, light and crackery, the flavors here are fantastic. my critique is a weak one, but its that its as strong as it is. this is a mix of flavors seemingly built for the beach and hot weather, but at this strength, i can only have a couple of them, and it seems unnecessarily high. if this was even down to 6% abv i think it would extend itself quite a lot. still, its hard to say anything that isnt radiantly positive about this beer, great recipe, cool combination of hops, and very expertly crafted! delicious ipa.
