An attractive amber color in the big nonic glass. Pleasantly foamy with a nice carbonation on the tongue. Light body, but a full mouthful.
Well made and easy to drink. Spicy hop flavor with a hint of fruit that you don't often find in the APA style. Stands up well with food. A clean hoppy flavor that doesn't overdo the bitterness, but doesn't get lost either. One of the boetter American Pale Ales I've had. Beery in the best sense of te word. Crisp but malty enough.
On tap at California Kebab, home of Amplified Ales in Pacific Beach.
