Handsome cloudy light amber with a long-lasting mustache of foam. A lighter sort of Tripel, and seems more like a Saison in body.
Brewed with lemon and orange peel which gives this a distinctive tart and bitter tang. No actual hop flavors to speak of, but this is more bitter than you'd normally encounter in a Tripel. I'd call it a Belgian-inspired fruit beer. There is just a scatch of the dry yeasty flavor at the end. Quite drinkable. I wouldn't mind trying it again, as it's different enough to confuse the right and left halves of the brain.
On tap at Amplified Ales for their Saturday release at California Kebab. Served in a tall tulip glass.
