A - Nice golden pour. Bright with a good three finger white head on top fading fast. Strong carbonation. Good lacing and ended up with good retention at one finger.
S - Grapes, tartness, funk, earth.
T - More sweetness than the aroma would lead you to believe. Not much tartness or grape notes but they come out later. Yeasty. Nice gentle sweetness.
M - Fairly strong carbonation, medium body, a bit thin, drying finish with some sweetness.
O/D - Ended up being pretty decent. The sweetness and funk/earth blend well together. Wouldn't kill for it, but it's worth a shot.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of candi sugar and light fruity eater with some light notes of the ices red wine barrel. Taste is also dominated by some residual candi sugar notes with some light fruity ester and some light flavours off the iced red wine barrel. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Not bad but bit too sweet and barrel-aged notes is note dominant enough.
