This lambic styled sour ale is the unique result of the bacteria and wild yeast's fermentation cycles within wine barrels through 2 years of maturation. Due to the lack of control inherent in this brewing technique, beer produced by this method is highly variable from one barrel to the next. This fact is the driving sentiment that makes barrel aged sours revered and romanticized for their individual elegance. As ephemeral as a flower and sublime as dreams, pucker up for a big rustic sour and oak character leading into a scintillating acidic and dry finish.

Bottle: Poured a light golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with light retention and no lacing. Aroma of light tart notes with some dry funky ester is OK. Taste is a mix of light tart notes with some dry funky ester and light subtle oak notes. Body is about average with medium carbonation. Not bad but falls a bit short on the level of complexity.

Pours a clear straw color with one finger of fizzy white head with little retention or lacing. The nose is soft; barn, citrus, pepper, toasted grain. The taste tart with some nice citrus, lemon, white pepper, a bit of earthy funk, some toasted grain, floral hops, a touch of oak and leather and finishes tart with a hint of sweetness. It has a medium-light body with lively carbonation and is very easy drinking, especially given the style. This is a very pleasing beer. It doesn't have the complexity or punch of a Belgian geueze which is neither good nor bad. This would be a go-to beer in the summer
